Most of my family sessions are held on Pensacola Beach, in downtown Pensacola, or at local parks. Together we will choose the best location for your family. My headshot sessions are held in my in-home studio. If you'd prefer an outdoor location for your headshot background we will discuss location options.

It's helpful to bring (non-messy) snacks for young children. If your session is on the beach bring a beach towel in case you get wet. By the end of the session (kids especially) are wading in the water.
Relax! Your family will sense it if you are stressed. We will have plenty of time to get great photos of your family. Think of this as time you get to spend having fun with them. Avoid the "cheese" word. This makes for an unnatural smile. We will play and laugh to get authentic smiles.
Sure! Friendly, well-behaved pets are welcomed. It's helpful to bring someone along to hold the leash during the remainder of the session.
Your session includes up to one hour of shooting time. It includes all of the best images professionally edited and available for digital download with a print release. You will receive a minimum of 50 digital images. Your gallery will be available 2 weeks after your session date. Your gallery link will also give you the option to purchase prints and other items from a professional print lab.

Florida weather can be unpredictable. Often thunderstorms will move out of the area just in time for a beautiful sunset session. We will watch the radar then make a decision about rescheduling 2.5 hours before the session.
I am proud of and want to share the images that I capture but I understand that some families opt to keep their images private for various reasons. I want to honor your wishes and will ask permission to share on social media.
