Pensacola Beach Family Photographer | Jennifer Beal Photography
I love when families visiting our area plan to have professional family photos made by a Pensacola Beach family photographer during their vacation. This is an ideal location to make some cherished memories. Summers on the beach can be crowded but the crowds are often lighter during the best light of the day, the golden hour. That golden hour light is about 1-2 hours before sunset or the first hour after the sun rises. These times of day allow for less harsh light that creates beautiful images.
I’ve spent a lot of time on Pensacola’s and Destin’s beaches, and I’m familiar with less crowded areas or locations that lend themselves to better photographs. It’s always best if we can get away from crowded areas with lots of people and buildings. Trust your photographer to select the right location and time of day to create gorgeous photos.
Types of Beach Photo Sessions
Senior, family, maternity, engagement, and proposals are all excellent sessions to book at the beach. The beautiful backdrop lends itself to a variety of occasions and all types of people. It is an excellent year-round location. From long flowing maxi sundresses creating romantic vibes in the summer to bundled-up layers creating cozy images in the winter, a beach photo shoot always looks amazing and will provide beautiful images for you to enjoy for years to come. What to Expect
Chances are it will be windy on the beach. “Beach hair, don’t care” is a true statement. Plan for wearing long hair tied back or bring extra hair clips in case we need to make adjustments during the session. Wind does add an interesting element to sessions and we work with it to make beautiful images. During the warmer months, bring towels because you will most likely have your feet in the water by the end of the session.
